MY HEART LOVES A HAPPY ENDING!!
The second book was ready and waiting when I finished the first. The story of Dean and Evy continues in book #2 – thank GOD!! Cliffhangers make me crazy!! This is not a typical love story because of the addition of a mystery to this romantic story. There are no new characters to meet – which for this story is a good thing. But I didn’t feel either of the main characters was developed completely, and that’s easy to tell when you can’t fall in love with them. I wasn’t a fan of either character as an individual, but as a couple, their connection was cool! The reunion at the end was a bit of a letdown – sex in the car (uh . . . NO!) Once again, a quick and easy read. Three hearts for OK principal characters with cool names, GREAT secondary characters like Evy’s sister and bro-in-law and Dean’s friends, a quick dialogue driven story, a plot that was more than just “I love you”, and a BIG thank you for having the second book ready (I despise cliffhangers!!) when I finished the first.
